DEAR KLAIRS MID DAY BLUE SUN LOTION REVIEW

Today, I will give you my opinion about my MOST FAVORITE SUNSCREEN EVER: Klairs Mid-Day Blue Lotion. It has SPF 40 and PA ++.

If you don't know what SPF is, SPF (Sun Protection Factor) is an index that blocks UVB (Ultra-B). UVB may cause skin irritation and inflammation. 15 Minutes are blocked per 1 SPF. Therefore, after 450 minutes, we should re-apply our sun protection again. Depending on how many SPF that product contains. On the other hand, PA (Protect A) is an index that blocks UVA (Ultra Violet-A). UVA is also called living UV Rays of which it penetrates the windows and is the cause for skin aging, wrinkles, dark spots and freckles. PA is not marked with numbers but in three stages, PA+, PA++, PA+++.

"has a lightweight, fast-absorbing formula that contains guaiazulene, Centella Asiatica extract and various peptides that protect against three major skin cell damage: (1) uv rays (2) aging by oxidation (3)overproduction of sebum."

Centella Asiatica is a beautiful herb found in damp areas and has other plant names like Gotu Kola, Pennywort, and Wild Violet.

It has an amazing benefits for your skin because it is rich in amino acids, beta carotene, fatty acids and phytochemicals which have a powerful anti-aging properties. It improves circulation as well as the synthesis of collagen and skin tissues. It also boosts antioxidant activities at the site of wounds, strengthening the skin and increasing blood circulation - making it beneficial in the management of eczema, acne, preventing scarring and future blemishes.

I've been using this sunscreen for a month and I am so glad that I received one from Shofon. Let me tell you the reasons why I love this product!

Unlike some other sunscreen, it does not have a sticky feeling at all! In fact, it kind of like mattifies my skin, prepping it for BB cream. It perfectly works well with Dear Klairs Illuminating BB Cream. I find that my skin looks at it's best whenever I use the two of them together.

It also brightens up my face. I love that it gives me a subtle glow even if it has a mattifying effect. Even if it does controls the sebum production, it still gives me that wonderful texture I love! The ice blue shade that turns into transparent white that settles on the skin helps me achieve that brightening subtle glow.

It controls sebum production. My skin type is combination to oily. Throughout the day, my makeup will tend to crease especially the nose, under eye and lip area. But whenever I use this sunscreen as a makeup base, it helps it not to crease a little bit (of course I still have to use a little bit of primer). But if you want that natural makeup, this sunscreen alone is perfect as your base.

It also does not clog my pores and irritate my skin. It is perfect for all skin types - even if you have a sensitive skin condition.

I personally think that this product has already everything you want for a sunscreen. Not sticky, fast-absorbing, brightening and subtle glow effect, mattifying effect, controls sebum, does not irritate and clog pores, has an anti-aging properties, protects skin from the sun while prevents future breakouts.

[HOW TO USE]:

Apply at the last step of your skin care routine. I recommend patting and gentle circular massage. Recommended to apply 15 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply if needed.
